Fabrics:
The fabric is the Material on which we show our creativity to make a design. The raw material which is used to make clothes is widely known as 'fabric'. The costcand durabilty of the cloth is simply dependent on what fabric you are using to make it. Now, we will discuss which fabrics are suitable for making a suit.
Types of fabrics :
1. Cotton :
Cotton is broadly weared by people in summers. Because it is comfortable and keeps you cool. Cotton also have kinds of its own. It comes in a variety of colours and designs. People like to wear cotton at home because of its comfort.
2. Velvet :
Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive soft feel. By extension, the word velvetymeans "smooth like velvet". Velvet can be made from either synthetic or natural fibers. It is used to make borders.
3. Khadi :
Khadi also called khaddar, is a hand-woven natural fibrecloth originating from eastern regions of the Indian subcontinent, but is now broadly used throughout India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
It is used to make suits.
4. Organza :
Organza is a thin, plain weave, sheer fabrictraditionally made from silk. Many modern organzas are woven with synthetic filament fibers such as polyester or nylon. It is broadly used to make dupattas and kameez.
5. Chiffon :
Chiffon is a lightweight, balanced plain-woven sheer fabric, or gauze, like gossamer, woven of alternate S- and Z-twist crepe (high-twist) yarns. It is widely used to make dupattas and kurti's.
6. Chinon :
Chinon is a type of nylon. The word is a combination of China and nylon. It is finer and provides more smoothness than regular nylon and polyester fabrics. It is mowmos used to make dupattas.
7. Crepe :
Crepe is a silk, wool, or synthetic fiber fabric with a distinctively crisp and crimped appearance. The term "crape" typically refers to a form of the fabric associated specifically with mourning. It is very expensive fabric and it has good demand in market.
8. Silk :
Silk fabric, also known as ‘Paat’ in East India, Pattu in South India and Resham in North India, is a natural fiber produced from the cocoons of mulberry silkworm via a process called Sericulture. The yarns produced from the process of sericulture are used to weave a variety of textiles. It is mostly used to make sarees.
9. Georgette :
Georgette is a light-weight, crinkled and sheer fabric, displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has dull-rough texture. Georgette is woven in highly twisted yarns of S & Z, in both warp and weft. Georgette is woven in two forms: Pure and Faux. Pure Georgette is woven out of Silk yarns, while the Faux
Georgette is woven from Rayon and Polyester.
